Freelance job Scotland QS

One of our clients are looking for a QS to assist them working on SSE substation projects. The projects are based in Scotland and would be mostly remote working with occasional client visits to Birmingham up until 2026.

From this time, the role would be hybrid - split between home and the office in Glasgow, with occasional client meeting visits when required.

The role:
- Mostly remote working until 2026
- Working on SSE substation projects
- Initial to 6-12 month contract with high likeliness of extension
- September start date
- Outside IR35

Client requirements:
- Proven experience working as a QS
- Previous substation experience essential
- Previously worked for SSE beneficial
- Tier 1 contractor experience ideal
