Free-Work/AGSI SAS periodically updates this personal data protection policy, based on applicable technical and regulatory developments. We advise you to regularly consult this page for any changes or updates to our policy. In the event of a substantial modification, Free Work/AGSI SAS undertakes to inform the people concerned.
This confidentiality policy describes how the company Free-Work Group Limited, whose office is located at Suite 8 KD Tower, Cotterells, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1FW, company number 05452221 (hereinafter “Free-Work”) collects, uses and protects the Personal Data that you entrust to us, in compliance with the requirements of the regulations applicable in the UK, and more particularly the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter the “Regulation”).
1. FREE-WORK COMMITMENTS
In all cases where Free-Work is likely to collect and/or to process personal data relating to Users of its Services or visitors to its Sites, as these terms are defined in the Site's general terms and conditions, Free-Work makes all necessary commitments and is putting in place the following measures, in accordance with the Regulations.
1.1 Fair and transparent treatment
We do not collect any personal information about you without informing you. Rest assured that we do not sell, transfer, trade or otherwise share your Data, unless we request your prior consent to do so.
1.2 Relevant and limited treatment
We limit the processing of personal data that we carry out to that which is necessary and relevant for its legitimate purposes and we ensure that we clearly identify these and inform the people concerned before any collection.
More specifically, we collect Candidate User Data of the Free-work.com Site to enable you to use our services of collecting applications and connecting you with recruiters, as described in our T&Cs ( https://www.free-work.com/en-gb/terms ).
We use Site visitor Data to enable us to track and improve the use of the Site and the management of our Services.
We take care to collect only the information that we need for this purpose.
As part of the development of our services and the activities of our Site, we have carefully taken into account the need to define the processing methods that most protect the rights of the people concerned, endeavouring whenever possible to offer by default the option with the least impact on them.
1.3 Confidential and secure processing
We define and implement a range of technical and organisational measures to protect the confidentiality and integrity of your data, and to protect it from any unauthorised access, loss, theft, damage and fraudulent use, as well as to enable you to exercise your rights. These measures are regularly updated. Our dedicated staff are trained and have agreed to the required confidentiality commitments. However, we cannot of course guarantee absolute protection, given the risks inherent to the internet, and as indicated in the T&Cs.
Your user account is protected by a password so that each User is the only one with access to their information. To help us protect the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data, we recommend that you do not disclose your password or login. You are solely responsible for the preservation and confidentiality of your password and/or any information relating to your account. You are well aware of the risks inherent to the Internet and we thank you for exercising caution and responsibility whenever you are online. Free-work.com will never ask you for your password via an unsolicited phone call or email. You must also remember to log out and close your browser window at the end of your work session if you are using a computer that does not belong to you (Internet café, at work, with friends, etc.).
1.4 Restrictively designated recipients and subcontractors
The recipients of your data are the Free-Work staff members and its service providers managing the Site and the Services, such as storage and hosting of our servers, professional services (legal, accounting, auditing), service providers screening authorised by law (against terrorism, fraud prevention, etc.) duly authorised and having agreed to the appropriate confidentiality commitments, as necessary the competent authorities, other Users and Recruiters in the event of a dispute and in accordance to the T&Cs, and the internet service providers where appropriate.

Subject to your prior consent, we may also share your Data with our commercial partners if you expressly indicate that you are interested in the offer presented on our Site. In this context, we only share a limited amount of Data with our commercial partners e.g. identification data, in order to enable our partner to contact you, as well as some data relating to your professional status and the indication of the page on our Site where you have agreed to be contacted by our partner. Once your Data has been transmitted to our partner, our partner will be solely responsible for the processing it carries out and will be solely responsible for providing you with information on the processing of your Data and how to exercise your rights. If you refuse offers from our commercial partners, no Data will be transmitted to them.
1.5 Strictly regulated international transfers
Your data is hosted on dedicated servers located at AWS Amazon Web Services, Inc. | EU Region (Paris), 67 Boulevard du Général Leclerc, 92110 Clichy, France. Their processing is, in accordance with the Regulations, carried out exclusively in the territory of a Member State of the European Union. The service provider AWS has put in place additional measures to protect the Data that we entrust to it in the event of an access request from government authorities which may result in a transfer of your Data outside the UK and European Union. 2. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED
Site Users' data:

- professional data: profession, training, CV, professional references, work authorisations (including the information they contain, such as nationality)
- other Profile data, content posted by you on the Site, such as your technical or non-technical skills
- technical data (such as IP address, data relating to your browser, location, time zone, connection data, logins and passwords)
- browsing data such as pages visited and time spent, etc.
- contributions made to the Site, including the Forum and the Blog, and including exchanges with Recruiters, the Site moderator or between Users,
- Marketing data and marketing and communications preferences
Site visitor data:
- technical data: IP address, connection data, browser, location, use of data relating to your use of the Site and marketing data, including your communication preferences.

4. STORAGE DURATION
We keep your personal data in an active form allowing you to be identified for the duration necessary for its processing according to its purposes. We then keep it in a secure format for a period necessary according to our legitimate interests, legal obligations or for archiving or legal requirements.

5. RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
You have all the following rights over your personal data, which you can exercise at any time (except for the right to be informed, which is exercised before collection) by sending us a request to contact[at]free-work.com accompanied by proof of identity of your choice.
The request must come from the person concerned themselves, who must be able to prove their identity. If applicable, and in accordance with the Regulations, you may be asked for a copy of your identity document.
We will respond to you within 30 days of receipt of your request, except in cases where the law requires us to carry out prior verification operations.
Right to information: Before any collection of your personal data, you will be informed of the categories of data collected, each purpose of data collection, the recipients of the data, the duration of data retention, the sources of collection when the data is collected indirectly, the legal basis for the proposed processing, the security measures implemented, possible international transfers, the possible existence of automatic decision-making processes, your other rights and how you can exercise them.
Right of access At any time you can access your data and all the information listed above and to take a copy of it.
Right of rectification At any time, you have the right to ask us to rectify, complete, update your personal data if it is inaccurate or out of date or to clarify it. The processing of this data may have to be interrupted for the time necessary to verify and carry out the modifications.
Right to object At any time, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data, stating the reasons. Your request will be responded to as quickly as possible, taking into account the need for the Site to verify that there is not a compelling legitimate reason on the part of the Site which should outweigh your reasons, such as the defense of our legal rights
Right to request the restriction of the processing of your data At any time, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited, in the cases and in compliance with the exceptions provided for by law.
Right to withdraw consent Each time the processing of your data is subject to your consent, you may withdraw it at any time and this withdrawal will be processed immediately, however not retroactively.

Right to portability At any time, you can request that the personal data you have submitted on the Site, excluding data derived or inferred by our systems, be given to you or transmitted to the third party of your choice. By default, the output language will be the one in which the information was transmitted to Free-Work. This right only applies if your Data is processed automatically and on the basis of your prior consent or the execution of a contract.
Right to give post-mortem instructions : At any time, you have the right to give us instructions regarding the erasure, storage or transmission of your data after your death.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, such as the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK via the website ico.org.uk.
6. Hypertext links
The activation by the User of hypertext links that may be present on the Site to social networks or digital platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X, may result in the collection by the network or platform in question of data from the User relating to their browsing on the Site. This collection is made according to the conditions of use of the social network or platform and not by the conditions of use of the Site. It is up to the User to disconnect from said platform if they do not wish to do share data with them. Free-Work is under no obligation and shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from how the platform in question may make of the User's data.
