CGI are on the hunt for an Environments Manager who will be responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing the various IT environments used for software development, testing, and deployment. This role ensures that development, staging, and production environments are properly configured, stable, and available to support the software delivery lifecycle (SDLC). Your future duties and responsibilities As a Senior Solution Owner you will lead large multi million pound bids and be responsible for delivering a highly attractive proposal to prospective or existing clients, supporting the Opportunity Pursuit Lead. You will lead a team of subject matter experts ranging from IT Service Management, Cloud and Hosting and Networks, where you will own the solution end to end, ensuring bid plans are adhered to. This will involve leading CGI internal presentations and sign-off as well as ensuring pricing and costs are competitive to the prospective client and aligned and approved by CGI stakeholders. • Act as a leader of the Services Team developing a coherent set of service solutions contributing specialist technical knowledge and experience • Work with the CGI team to define innovative and successful service solutions • Set and manage stakeholder expectations across all delivery lines • Assess current and emergent technology, giving advice on price and performance. • Manage relationships with 3rd party service providers • Align the solution with the business and customer goals, identifying benefits and risk mitigation approaches associated with the service elements of the proposed solution • Ensure service risks are identified, assessed and managed; in particular non-functional requirements, including availability, scalability and performance • Coordinate plans and actions with project manager, including other specialists • Own collated service delivery estimates and costs from teams and 3rd party service providers for all the services • Lead the assessment of proposed solutions against Service Level Agreements Required qualifications to be successful in this role We're looking for a range of the following skills and experiences: • Excellent written and verbal communication on proposals • Previous experience of presenting solutions to senior clients • Ability to provide independent review of infrastructure and service designs to ensure that the requirements and constraints are met • Identify, assess and mitigate technical and non-technical issues and risks • Own and the generation of authoritative cost estimates for large-scale and complex projects • Service Management • ITIL • Proven track record in leading the development of solutions on a large project, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external/internal customers • TOGAF aware • Leading the service workstream for bids delivering complex technical solutions to time, budget and client satisfaction • Mentoring and coaching of junior team members and others, sharing knowledge and expertise #LI-LH Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action. CGI is a leading provider of IT systems and software services to UK MoD. We are looking for a highly motivated project manager to take ownership of projects focused on the Land domain. This role will require the successful candidate to take ownership for achieving deliverables and proactively steering projects working with the client and internal stakeholders. The role requires knowledge and experience of programme and project delivery in and to UK MoD clients. Your future duties and responsibilities The project manager is responsible for delivering their projects to an agreed baseline, while managing project finances, reporting, schedule, change and risk. This will require direct interaction with the client, end-users and partner organisations, so presentational and interpersonal skills are important. As well as managing project teams, the candidate will proactively support activities to grow the value of the account through change management and bids and proposals for new business. As such it is important to have excellent communication skills and a high degree of financial and commercial rigour. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Strong project management skills and the ability to own and deliver complex projects with minimal guidance • Experience managing and delivering IT systems and software services to UK MoD • Excellent commercial acumen • Proven successful project management track record, including risk and issue management • Demonstrated experience of managing project finances • Excellent client facing written/verbal communication skills • Strong team leadership and collaboration skills • Proven ability to manage sub-contractors, including managing statements of work and resolving problems in a constructive manner • Experience using project management tools for tasks such as project scheduling and financial reporting Highly Desirable: • Formal project management qualification such as APMP or Prince2 • Knowledge of MoD procurement strategies, policies and processes • UK military veteran with Land/British Army background or candidate with experience of working in procurement of Land capability • University degree or equivalent qualification in a technical discipline e.g. Science, Engineering or Computer Science Workstyle: Hybrid with an expectation of regular work at CGI and client sites as required to successfully deliver client engagements. Key Tasks: • Plan and manage the timely and cost effective delivery of marketing and communications programmes that support the objectives of the business. • Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy to support the BU Business Plan, including developing strategies for positioning CGI as a partner and employer of choice, and ensuring all activities are aligned with the CGI brand. • Develop relevant content and adopt multiple tactics such as events, digital, social media, sales support activities, client based marketing and deal based marketing to support the objectives of the BU. • Manage digital marketing campaign efforts including marketing automation, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing and brand awareness campaigns • Utilise data-driven insights and analytics to monitor campaign performance, identify trends, and optimise marketing efforts • Monitor industry trends competitor activities and emerging markets to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage • Work with the rest of the UK&A and Global MarComms teams to inform, utilise and collaborate on best practice and shared activities.
