How To Apply for a Job on Technojobs

There are two ways to apply for a job on Technojobs, Apply and Quick-Apply, and they work in very similar ways. If you are not logged in as a registered candidate then only the Apply mechanism is available. If you are logged in as a candidate then you can choose which method you prefer on a per-application basis.

Quick-apply allows you to choose an existing covering letter (either the standard one supplied by Technojobs or any of your custom covering letters) and an existing CV (one of those uploaded in PDF, Word, RTF or Text formats either during sign up or by managing documents when logged in).

The traditional Apply method allows you to choose an existing covering letter or to paste in the content for a new one. If you aren't logged in your only choice is the standard Technojobs one or a custom pasted-in document. You can then choose to paste in CV content as text or upload a file. If you are logged in (but choosing to Apply rather than Quick-Apply) then you could alternatively choose one of your saved CVs.

If you aren't logged in, Apply will ask for your name, email address and phone number. If your are logged in, this isn't necessary as the system already knows your details.

Any application will cause it to be listed in the recruiters list of applications and will change colour there depending on how long it's been since the application was acknowledged. If the recruiter changes the status of the application (requesting an interview or rejecting the application for example) then you will be emailed back to notify you of this. This is a positive feature as it means applications won't be lost/ignored - at some point they will be emailed by the system.
