Hi,
First post, here goes...
I've taken a look at the spreadsheet and it has got me thinking...
I have been taking long term contracts with clients (3 months to 12 months) over the past 7 years but I am making more of an effort to expand to multiple concurrent short term contracts/jobs/projects.
My current mode of operation is to work 40-50hrs and then try and fit my admin, marketing, networking etc... in spare time (when I can find it = doesn't get done). I find it very difficult to turn work down just so I can call people I know to see how they're getting on and to keep me in mind if they need any work doing.
I usually quote what I think I can get away with and just go with that.
I have asked around what other people think I should charge but never really get a good answer - this spreadsheet helps, thanks!
