Many thanks for your quick reply. I do actually have relatives over in Perth but they moved from the UK many moons ago so am not sure what still applies.

I was just wondering if anyone out there had either relocated from the UK to US or from UK to Australia to actually live and work there (career based) and not just work for a year or so. (I understand that its not a simple procedure)
If anyone has done or know anybody who has, I was wondering if you could shed a little light on the general steps to take, to get this process started.
Also any information about financial backing from either banks, sponsorship etc would be very useful to know about.
