ali g, post: 3270 a écrit : Hi there

I've been asked to price up a job which will involve editing and proofing a 488 page book, containing just under 300,000 words.

My question is, how do I go about pricing this? Do I do it on an hourly rate (I'm guessing it will take rather a while!) or do I price it per word or per page? I'm used to editing and producing copy or writing press releases, for which I would charge by the hour.

Any advice please?
Hi Ali,

I am a virtual assistant, i also do proofing works, i suggest that you priced it by page. i think it is more easy to just count the number of pages being proofread than having to record the number of hours that you are doing it.
