Hi everyone - first of all, great forum, I've found more helpful info here than anywhere else!
I'm sorry, maybe its a dumb question, but I have found so many different answers and some of them obscure ones, I cant seem to get this straightened out.
The gist of it is this: I am dual english/spanish and registered a UK ltd with coddan for web design. Havent been in the UK since I was born.
I stopped working with coddan when for the second year they asked me for 500+ to manage my accounts for me. I'm just a freelancer who is starting up, I cannot afford that right now.
So basically I dont know where to start with my responsibilities and taxes and obligations. I'm sorry, I know it sounds dumb, dont ask why I opened a ltd in the UK, but I did and now I have to run with it.
In April/May I have to present my first accounting and all I have is the expenses/invoices for the year, nothing else.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction about this? I've read all there was on gov.uk, companies-house and related sites, but they dont cover my situation.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks before hand!
Sam
