How to Approach for Business?
Approaching potential clients is not as simple as people think. It’s hard to approach and even hold them for long time. However, there are many approaches you can adopt for this. Some of them are here:
- Attending business seminars, conferences and events.
- Meet with CEOs, CFOs, COO, directors or key position holders
- Leaving your business Card
- Make sure your online presence as well as social media presence
- Participates on online discussions/Web Events etc.
- Direct email campaign
- Associate referral
By effective marketing and services/products, try to win your customers hearts. This is one of the most and effective approach for business to make clients loyal to you.

- Some good points here. Too many people go into freelancing without having a clue how to market themselves to potential clients, or even who their potential clients are. There's much more to it than setting up a cheap website and waiting for business to start rolling in. It aint gonna happen.
People buy from people. - The biggest problem I have is that I seem to connect well with the Workers who actually get the jobs done, but can never make contact with the Managers, which are the ones who make the hiring decisions, but don't do any of the work.
Managed to get some sweet jobs through Workers who are respected by their Managers. But most of the time Workers and Managers are totally different entities, so I don't get as much work as I could.
Just wondering how to better get in front of the Managers? :indifferent
