Test Analyst - SC ClearedWorking within the client's test practice you will have a breadth of experience across testing, software, applications and infrastructure. Skills:* Experience of identifying test data and creating test cases in response to clearly defined requirements. * Creation of test cases for both manual and automated testing. * Experience of executing test cases and recording test results in accordance with established test plan(s). Including the execution of test cases in areas of technical testing specialism.* Experience of defect logging, investigation and support.* Creation of high quality test plan documents* Understands testing requirements and agrees testing scope with stakeholders.* Experience of writing Test scripts, Test Reports, Defect Management and Reporting requirements.* Experience using SOAP UI, XML, Jenkins, JIRA. Our client is a forward thinking Semiconductor company based in the Edinburgh area. They are focusing on automotive solutions spanning various devices and applications. They are now seeking a Senior ATE Test Engineer to join the growing team at this very exciting time. Responsibilities for the Senior ATE Test Engineer: • Create and document detailed testing plans for new technology devices. • Design and troubleshoot software and hardware for reliability and production testing. • Diagnose issues with new semiconductor components. • Develop efficient and cost-effective testing solutions for large-scale manufacturing. • Oversee all testing-related tasks, including both hardware and software, in partnership with internal teams and external testing partners. • Implement, refine, and deploy testing programs for remote production sites. Requirements for the Senior ATE Test Engineer: • Experience with digital, mixed-signal, and power management IC devices, along with hands-on experience on automatic test equipment. • Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing techniques and semiconductor testing strategies. • Competence in scripting languages like (C/C++/Java/Perl/Python) • Knowledge of advanced SOC testing equipment (such as V93000 or SMT models) • Demonstrated experience with testing tools like spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, VNAs, and similar equipment. • Familiarity with system-level and RF/SOC testing is advantageous.
