Job Vacancy Senior Supplier Manager

We are looking for two Senior Supplier Managers to join our community of tech experts. One vacancy is in our Digital Retirement Team, the other in the Debt Programme.

In these roles you will manage and prioritise requirements throughout the Commercial framework, leading on and overseeing complex procurements across their lifecycle.

This role is all about collaboration with your team, Commercial Leads, suppliers and other key stakeholders to ensure a seamless procurement service to the organisation, supporting DWP's day-to-day operation and development.

You'll build the skills and experience to manage contracts, relationships, and procurements that ensure our digital teams have the tools, frameworks, software and partnerships to deliver a once-in-a -change to public services.

Our Hybrid Cloud Services team need a Senior Supplier Manager to support across the commercial lifecycle, managing and prioritising requirements, and managing supplier relationships.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

• Experience in establishing professional relationships with a range of stakeholders with strong evidence of your ability to drive and form a network of key contacts.
• Evidence of strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to negotiate favourable outcomes for the Business and Department.
• Experience of establishing ways to find and respond to feedback from customers about the services provided.
• Experience of maintaining finance and budgetary requirements within a major Programme or organisation with experience of achieving value for money.
• Experience of managing high profile complex commercial and procurement activities during a Project lifecycle, prioritising tasks in a fast-paced agile working environment.

Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.

Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to £42,614.

Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to £12,345 per year.

Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 days over time.

You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
