Hi all,
I have a contract with a UK recruitment agency to act as a freelancer for 1 year at a specific company. Due to some reasons I'm thinking to finish the contract before it will expiry. I have a statement in the contract that I cannot work directly or through another agency for the same client for several months after the contract is finished. My question is, can I brake this contract statement? Is it fair to claim this in a freelancer contract? I know that in some countries the recruitment agency cannot force a freelancer to do this. I don't know what is the situation in UK.
Thanks for any help.
