Hi all,
I've been freelancing for a few years now as a writer. I get a fair amount of work from an agency, but on my linkedin page, I only list the clients I have written for (through the agency) I did this mainly for convenience, but also because it obviously looks good on my profile, rather than having a single agency.
I've just been emailed asking that I change my linkedin profile to show the agency as my main freelance employer. To be honest my initial reaction was to tell them where to go - my understanding is that my profile is none of their concern.
Is that correct? From what I gather it's completely unacceptable if I was an actual employee, but given the freelance situation I wasn't sure what the deal was. Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers.
