I have a potential new client based in Romania / Malta and I was wondering if there was anything I need to consider before working with them. I was wondering if I need proof of identification or anything like that?
Hoping someone can help me or put me in the right direction!
Thank you

If you doubt they are a legitimate business then you should ask for proof of identity of the business/client.
If you need to know about the tax side of things, you might want to get in touch with a Freelancer Accountant to see if they can help. -

Is the potential client a company or an individual? If it's the former, they should be able to provide you with a company number, etc.
