Hi there,
I am new to this forum and to freelancing and I have just done my 1st logo job. This involved:
4 original concepts
Numerous changes to the chosen design
A lot of colour matching work
providing 2 colour options of the logo in each file type approx 25 files in total given to client.
I stopped the clock at 12 hours as I don't want to charge too much and I am conscious that I may be a bit slow at the moment in comparison to other designers. I am charging her 10 per hour.
My questions are: Do you think 122 hours is about right for the amount of work listed above? Also, do you think 120 is a reasonable amount to charge someone who I know? Thank you in advance

Hello,
I think you're either offering too much in the way of deliverables, or charging far too little.
It's got to come down to the FAST > CHEAP > GOOD triad—you can't deliver all three. And it reads like you're trying to offer all three.
(Replace "Good" with "Lots of deliverables")
Unfortunately, friends do ask designers to help out usually because they want / expect a good deal. You need to get a good deal too—otherwise you're just really, doing them a favor.
