Hi Guys,
I'm new to this forum, and currently debating going freelance while still in my design job. Most aspects of freelance I can work/find out but this query I cant get any information on.
My background is print based but I know HTML/CSS and have experience designing front-end websites as well as uploading them from my own computer.
If I were to advertise front-end web design and took on a job, upon completion of the site would I be required to upload the files from my computer to the web or would I send the files to the client for them to upload? Or am I getting it all wrong?
My point being I don't eventually want to clog up my computer with clients HTML files.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, feel free to ask questions if what I'm asking doesn't make sense.
Dale

Once your work is completed, your files need to be uploaded to a web server. You would need to point the domain name for the client to the nameservers on the web server, then upload the website image onto the web server.
Does that make sense?
Any queries feel free to get in touch,

Most of my clients don't want to get involved with uploading files, setting up hosting, storing their files for them, etc.—they just want their website to work, so I do all of this for them as part of the service and charge accordingly.Web Designer London -

Some can upload the files themselves, but others may expect you to deal with the uploading and setting up the domain yourself. If you want to minimize clutter after a job, put your old work in an archive file (ex. .zip) and store it online or on an external drive.
