Hi all,
I have recently been made redundant at a web development company and am struggling to find a job. It makes it more difficult that i have a 11 month old little boy. I'm currently receiving job seekers and don't want to do anything to hinder any benefits (not that there is a lot).
What I want to know is where to start, how should i go about it. And more importantly is it possible while still receiving job seekers and also is it possible with a baby crawling about.
Confused about the future

Tough luck, but it seems like you are taking a logical approach. The best way to acquire clients when you are first starting is to use your existing friends and connections. Call upon friends and let them know you are working on the side. Job seekers should not be a problem. Tough to know about your 11-month-old - just work during nap time! -

Websites like Linked In and EAcademy or even Face book can become very valuable networking tool. And having a website to promote your services is also something you should consider. As you mentioned that you have been doing some web developing then it you can do it without a spending much money on it. -
