If an agency got me web design work who's name do I put in the footer?
Hi all.
I have recently gone freelance. A company that I used to work for paid me to make a website for one of their clients.
When I used to work for the company I would always put the company name in the footer 'Website built by COMPANY NAME'.
However I am not sure what I should put in the footer since I am no longer properly employed by this company and this is technically freelance work for an agency.
The reason I ask is I am including this website in my website portfolio, but it has no mention of me in the current footer.
I am not sure what I am entitled to do!
'Website built by MY NAME on behalf of COMPANY NAME' or something?

- I would just put in your name (linked) and see if they say anything. If they do you can always agree on something like what you mentioned above. Remember in the <title> you could always add a comment stating you were the designer.
