Well, I just spent the last week putting together a 64 page trade journal in InDesign for the fist time. Verdict? Adequate? Just about. Over fussy and fiddly? Definitely. Over-rated? Absolutely!

Indesign gets the thumbs up from me, beats quark any day of the week for me, but I guess it's what you are use to using! -

Messages count : 8Likes count : 0Registration : 9 September 2008I'm a huge InDesign fan too, I hate the fact that Quark is so behind the times compared to InDesign... a couple of weeks ago I had a text box with rounded corners and Quark couldn't align the text vertically!!! I had to layer a square box over the top to create the effect I needed, irritating instances like this seem to happen all of the time in Quark whereas InDesign has a simple solution every time... plus it has the added bonus of being so compatible with photoshop and illustrator!
