Logos - Feedback appreciated
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on a few logos which I've made.
First one is for an Architecture firm called 'Cubic Architects'. Please see attached files.
Any feedback is welcome.
Many thanks,
Angs

- Hey Ange
Good work. I'd say the second works the best, as those cubes definately need the contrast with the background. Also, the colours are maybe a bit bland - i'd probably try some big colours on a dark background..
there you go! good luck with it
Matt - Hi Matt,
Thank you very much for your reply and feedback (and compliment). I appreciate it!
I think you are right, so I will take your advice and see if I can make it bolder.
I'll keep you posted... :)
Many thanks,

- Hi guys,
Thanks for your replies and for the feedback.
Apologies for taking a while to make these changes.
I think that you were both right so I've changed it to a darker font colour and it needed more contrast. See if this works, here is what I've done:

Angela - Personally I prefer the black and white option, you can adjust colours as needed a lot easier and its cheaper to print :)
The one thing about the designs that just feels wrong to me is the angle of the 'C' boxes. I feel it would look better if it was rotated so the current vertical axis is more horizontal. Think of looking down on a 3D plan of a building. I feel it would give a more architectural feel to the design due to the symbolism and relation to buiding plans. - I really like the third one. I like the coloured cubes and then the brandname in the box. It works really well!
- Hi there
I would have to say I agree with 'Image Resolutions', the black and white outcome is quite strong and could be adapted to future modifications 🙂 .
I like that in the two bottom designs the text "Cubic Architects" is closer together, it tends to fit allot better that way, I’m not sure if its just me haha. The perspective of the C shape made from the cubes is a little odd but overall I think its a strong design :D. I like how you have the lines of the cubes in the first design simply colored, it really catches my attention right away 🙂 .
You seem really passionate, keep up the good work 😉 .
Jay.
