I'm a freelance web developer and I'm looking to buy a new laptop, so I'm coming to you for advice. What would you recommend?

For web development you will want a laptop with a reasonable quantity of RAM, for example 16GB to start. Also consider laptops with a competent CPU which will allow you to put together and test your code quicker. Plenty of screen space is helpful as well, and a comfortable keyboard for typing for long periods of time.
I use a Macbook Pro which is great and does everything I need it to do. -

Aim for at least 16GB of RAM to handle resource-intensive tasks efficiently. Opt for a fast SSD with ample storage to store project files and applications. A high-resolution display with accurate color reproduction ensures comfortable long hours of coding. Look for a lightweight and portable design for flexibility. Recommended options include the MacBook Pro, Dell XPS series, or Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, balancing performance, portability, and reliability for your freelance projects. Additionally, for those interested in engaging with the thriving gaming community in India, consider a laptop with capable graphics processing, as it can double for both web development and gaming, providing versatility for leisure and work pursuits.

My advice to you is to look for a powerful processor, 16GB of RAM for smooth operation and SSD storage for fast booting. Weight and size matter if you're mobile. Macbooks are popular but expensive, consider a Windows or Chromebook as well!
My personal Top:
Apple Macbook Pro (Classic choice for web dev, but on the pricier side)
Dell XPS 13 (Powerful and portable Windows option)
Google Pixelbook Go (Great budget-friendly Chromebook)
