Installation Engineer

This role is for an Installation engineer to undertake the following activities. Daily Goods in and receipt of delivered IT Equipment as required Receipting of delivered daily despatch Daily stock of tech Vend (x2) or as required Daily delivery and collection of IT Equipment to Tech Central Recording all Return IT equipment into Master asset returns file and closing related Spark references Install work setting to desk (Monitor Keyboard dock Mouse) as per standards document Repeat build of laptops and worksations on a daily basis -What is the technical environment, & minimum (technical) skills/experience needed? Good basic experience of connecting worksetting Use of Spark/Servicenow to manage stock and receipting good in/out -Are there any professional accreditations required for the role? None -What are the 'nice to have' skills/experience? Good interpersonal skill Customer focused Good basic Excel skill Team Play -Does the contractor need experience of working in any particular sector? No -Will the contractor be working alone or in a team? Team • Does the person need to travel for the role? Electrical Engineer (Plant & Building Services)

Working within our Facility Engineering team, we are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Engineer (Plant & Building Services) to deliver professional electrical design engineering services plant and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for you to apply your expertise to deliver electrical engineering solutions during the lifecycle of our facilities and in return receive excellent training and development to help you further your career. Title: Electrical Engineer (Plant & Building Services) Location: Reading Salary: Up to £52,000 depending on experience plus allowances As an Electrical Engineer your role will require you to: · Apply expertise in electrical design and knowledge of building services and associated plant to deliver design solutions for new or upgrading old electrical installations (distribution boards, circuits and connected assets etc). · Produce modification packages, manage configured plant changes, and act as intelligent client in acquiring or specifying engineering services or products. · Identify defects, non-compliances and poorly configured electrical installations, and propose solutions or the identification of business risk or opportunities arising from the condition of engineered systems and structures in the interests of safety, regulatory compliance, quality, and reliability, and plan manage, and collaborate to deliver sound, safe solutions. · Provide advice, guidance, progress reports, and supporting documentation to stakeholders including Senior Leadership, Operations Management, Process Owners, Operators, Maintainers, and Building Occupants. · Review Electrical Installation Certificates and Electrical Installation Condition Reports · Adhere to Company Management System requirements, relevant Technical Standards & Legislation, and business controls. · Display professional, ethical, and courteous conduct. For Electrical Engineer roles we are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in some, or all the following: · Common Electrical building installations and services (3 phase distribution boards and connected assets). · UPS, BMS, HVAC, electric hot water systems etc. and industrial processes with a reasonable awareness of associated mechanical & control systems · A good awareness of relevant HSE legislation, industry best practice and standards · IET 18th Edition and Electrical Testing (City and Guilds 2391) · Experience within a regulated industries (e.g., nuclear, petro-chem, pharma etc.). · Electrical Approved Person competency · IET Incorporated Engineer · Previous experience as an installer or maintainer would be beneficial, although this role is more akin to design and consultancy services; there will be no hands on installation tasks We would love to hear from individuals with a minimum qualification at Level 4 NQF (HNC) with suitable additional experience (BEng degree in electrical engineering or building services (electrical) would advantageous) who are looking to further their career in a company that can offer superb training and development opportunities.
