Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

AWE is now recruiting for Maintenance & Reliability Engineers to deliver engineering solutions that will maximise productivity, reliability, innovation and quality to the business. Title: Maintenance & Reliability Engineer Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area Package: up to £52,000 (depending on experience) As a Reliability Engineer, this will give you the opportunity to: · Deliver proactive Maintenance & Reliability solutions in relation to defined requirements, across the full engineering asset lifecycle · Lead/participate in failure mode effects analysis of critical assets and key processes · Lead/participate in root cause analysis · Effective stakeholder management, engaging and influencing others in order to drive improvements across the function · Identify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency and business improvement · Expand own engineering skills and experience relevant to engineering domain · Using KPI's to ensure work remains on track and performance is measured · Using data collected from CMMS to trend and drive improvement within area · Supporting reactive maintenance as a subject matter expert · Be an intelligent customer within the procurement phase to cultivate a defect elimination process For the Reliability Engineer roles we are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in some, or all of the following: · A recognised Engineering-related qualification (NVQ level 3/HNC ideal) and a strong maintenance engineering background (the hiring manager is flexible on discipline) · The ability to solve a range of technical problems and make the necessary decisions to rectify · Ability to communicate and present reports with others on technical requirements and engineering modifications · Knowledge & experience of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems would be highly beneficial in order to support analysis activities Some reasons we think Maintenance & Reliability Engineers love it here: · 9-day working fortnight - meaning you get every other Friday off work. · In addition, 208 hours of holiday each year (equal to at least 25 days leave) plus Bank Holidays. · Market leading contributory pension scheme (we will pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your contributions). · Family friendly policies : Maternity Leave - 39 Weeks Full Pay and Paternity Leave - 4 Weeks Full Pay. · Opportunities for Professional Career Development including funding for annual membership of a relevant professional body. · Employee Assistance Programme and Occupational Health Services. · Life Assurance (4 x annual salary). · Discounts - access to savings on a wide range of everyday spending. · Special Leave Policy including paid time off for volunteering, public service (including reserve forces) and caring.
