The systems and network engineer is the IT professional responsible for an organization's servers (company, association, administration). He acts as an expert in hardware and software: microprocessors, servers, interconnection boxes, workstations, peripherals, extension cards, memory... Therefore, he is responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and securing the IT tools under his responsibility. He generally works within an ISD (Information Systems Department) or an IT services company.
