Key Skills & Experience:Key Responsibilities: Design & Implementation:* Design and deploy Cisco SDA solutions, including DNA Centre, Identity Services Engine (ISE), and associated network devices.* Develop and implement network segmentation strategies to enhance security and compliance.* Integrate Cisco SDA with existing network infrastructure, ensuring transitions and minimal downtime. Network Management & Maintenance:* Monitor and maintain the health of the SDA infrastructure, proactively addressing issues and optimizing performance.* Implement software updates, patches, and configuration changes in accordance with best practices.* Automate network operations and configuration management using Cisco DNA Centre and related tools. Security & Compliance:* Ensure that all SDA deployments adhere to security best practices and regulatory requirements.* Implement and manage security policies, including role-based access control (RBAC) and software-defined segmentation. Troubleshooting & Support:* Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex network issues, working closely with the IT support team to resolve incidents.* Perform root cause analysis of network failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.* Assist in the development of network disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Collaboration & Documentation:* Collaborate with other IT teams, including security, systems, and applications, to integrate SDA solutions with broader IT initiatives.* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.* Provide training and support to junior engineers and IT staff on SDA technologies and best practices. Skills:* Strong understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.* Experience with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).* In-depth knowledge of network security principles, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and VPN technologies.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Soft Skills:* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
