Collaborate with the business lead to develop business cases for projects. • Analyze IT requirements for input to the budgeting process. • Assist in compiling, justifying and getting approval for project proposals. • Ensure all requests are documented, screened and scheduled according to designated service offerings. • Ensure effective IT project mandate is developed. • Ensure the business requirements are clearly defined, approved, communicated and understood. • Ensure the impact of IT initiatives from other areas are assessed, aligned and communicated, and requirements are incorporated into plans as needed. • Ensure resources, either internal from associated IT department or external are secured to meet business demands. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline. An advanced degree and related accreditations a plus. • 7+ years of experience within IT, ITIL and Service Management • 3+ years of experience within the Pharma / Life Science industry preferable • 5+ years demonstrated experience managing IT services or delivering IT service improvement initiatives. I am currently recruiting for a Electrical Design Engineer to work on decarbonisation projects across the UK on a contract basis. Start Date: ASAP Location: Flexible UK Locations (preferably Stockport / Windsor) / Home Based Contract Length: 6 - 12 months full time initial contract IR35: Inside Job Type: Full time contract Key responsibilities include, but not limited to: *Design of distributed generation and renewable energy schemes *Detailed design of LV distribution systems *Specification of HV installation works *Design for compliance with GB Distribution Code (G99, G100 etc) *Electrical calculations including load estimation, equipment sizing, cable & protection device selection *Selection & specification of electrical equipment for integration with CHP, heat pumps and district heating systems *Preparing construction-ready detailed designs: single line diagrams, control panel drawings, block cable diagrams, cable schedules, lists of materials and design risk assessments *Defining scope of works and interfaces for subcontractor packages *Proficiency with AutoCAD LT and Amtech (or equivalent) *Experience of EPLAN will be an advantage *Knowledge of legislation, standards, safe working practice and environmental best practice. *Knowledge of control systems for power management and building controls (PLCs, SCADA, BMS, etc) *Knowledge of earthing and/or lightning protection an advantage *Knowledge of fire detection, machinery safety or metering an advantage*Experience in sizing all these pipework systems and all these examples of equipment is preferred but not absolutely necessary as training will be made available as required. *Must be able to write clear and concise English, e.g., technical sections in tender response documents *Willing to be flexible in the role, e.g., assist the Sales, Commercial, Procurement or Construction teams, where required Whilst the role is flexible with regard to location and home working, it will involve UK site visits, also, the team office base is in Stockport, attendance there for meetings once or twice a month will also be required. Qualifications *To have a CIBSE / IET Engineering Council accredited honours degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Alternatively, an HNC in an applicable discipline with commitment to continue with higher education and to have achieved or be working towards IEng or CEng status *Design Engineer in building services, renewables or related industry.
