Job Title: Aviation Technical Service Engineer

Location: Warton. (On-Site)

Salary: £40,000 + dependent on experience

What you'll be doing:

To ensure the continuing airworthiness of the airline's fleet, maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and providing technical support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft. The CAMO/Technical Services Engineer will contribute to the planning and execution of maintenance, supporting reliability, and addressing technical issues in a timely manner to maintain operational integrity.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Good understanding of aircraft systems, continuing airworthiness, and relevant UK CAA and EASA regulations, including an in-depth knowledge of Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145 requirements
  • Experience in a CAMO/Technical Services role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within a commercial aircraft service environment is advantageous, including familiarity with reliability programmes, maintenance planning, and defect management
  • Experience in project management and continuous improvement within an aviation technical environment is highly desirable
  • Experience of working with aviation maintenance software

The Corporate Air Travel team:

This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operations of all company-operated aircraft. You will be joining a small, dedicated team of individuals who are responsible for the effective regulatory oversight and maintenance planning of the company aircraft.

As a growing area within BAE Systems Corporate Air Travel Ltd, this role offers exposure across various business units and contracted 3rd party maintenance providers giving a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive insights into the organisation's operations. Team environment and can collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, maintenance providers, and OEMs.
