Are you a FinOps Manager able to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive financial operations (FinOps) governance and operational model in a multi-cloud environment? 

 

Then emagine are looking for you to work with a global organisation to establishing best practices, optimizing cloud costs, and ensuring financial accountability across the cloud infrastructure.

 

 

Key Skills:

 

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud financial management, with a focus on AWS, GCP, and Azure.


• Strong understanding of cloud cost management tools and practices, including cost allocation, chargeback, and optimization.


• Proven track record of developing and implementing FinOps governance frameworks and operational models.


• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.


• Experience with cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Cost Management, and Azure Cost Management.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.


• Ability to develop and deliver training and support to teams on cloud cost management best practices.


• High adaptability, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in cloud financial management or FinOps, such as the FinOps Certified Practitioner.


• Experience with multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies.


• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance requirements.


• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis FP&A processes and tools.


 

 

 

 

Key Tasks:

 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive FinOps governance framework for managing cloud costs across AWS, GCP, and Azure.


• Establish and maintain an operational model that includes policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud financial management.


• Collaborate with cloud architects, engineers, and finance teams to optimize cloud resource usage.


• Monitor and analyze cloud spending, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.


• Implement cost allocation and chargeback mechanisms.


• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track cloud spending and usage.


• Conduct regular reviews of cloud usage and spending.


• Provide training and support to teams on cloud cost management best practices.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud financial management and FinOps practices.
