Freelance job DevSecOps Engineer x5

Client within the Blockchain sector is currently seeking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join the team on a 6 month contract basis

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
• Experience: • 3+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or a related field.
• Proven experience with blockchain technologies and platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Bitcoin).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.

• Skills: • Strong understanding of security best practices, including secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with blockchain security issues, such as smart contract vulnerabilities and consensus attacks.

• Soft Skills: • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.



Logistics:

• Fully Remote!
• 6 Month Contract
• £700 - £800 outside IR35
