My client is looking for Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer with power electronics experience to join their custom power supply design team based in Worthing, UK.

 Key Responsibilities as a Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer:

• Work in an R&D team of electrical experts designing products from concept stageProvide technical expertise in new product design and modification of existing products.Responsible for component part selection taking into consideration obsolescence, availability and costFoster creativity and innovation in design solutionsSelf-motivated team member delivering projects from concept to manufacturing working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

 
Qualification needed for the Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer:

• Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering/Power Electronics or equivalent experience.5+ years experience in AC-DC / DC-DC switch-mode power supply design from conception to productionExperience of wide range of topologies.Deep knowledge of EMC, thermals, magnetic design, analogue and some digital design
