Contractor job Mass Properties Engineer (SC)

Our Bristol based client is looking for a Mass Properties Engineer to support the finalisation of the design of work packages. ** OUTSIDE IR35 **START: ASAPDURATION: 12 MONTHSCLEARANCE: SCRATE: £30-£34 PER HOUR x 8 HOURS PER DAYLOCATION: 3 DAYS IN BRISTOL/2 DAYS REMOTEJob Description:* Provide component and detailed mass properties (weight, centre of gravity, inertia) and contribute to the component optimisation process. * Define weight status, target weights (detailed parts and component level), route to target and track weight risk & opportunities.* Calculate delivery component weight, and perform actual weight and balance measurement on detail parts, assemblies and components. * Contribute in design reviews, weight maturity reviews and weight savings. * Collaborate with many technical disciplines to understand and to challenge the component design in the quest for optimum weight
