Freelance job Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract

Position: Contract - Mechanical Design - Outside IR35

Type: Contract
Duration: 6 Months
Location: South Wales - 3 days onsite
Rate: Up to £45 per hour, outside IR35 - may have flexibility upward on this for the right candidate



About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business that is primed for exponential growth. Our client boasts state-of-the-art simulators, testing, and production facilities onsite, offering varied projects and a robust pipeline.



Key Skills Required:

Proficiency with SolidWorks.
Strong background in injection moulding.
Full lifecycle development and can demonstrate GD&T, DFM, DFA, FEA and report writing for own designs.
Experience in the aerospace industry is an advantage
Experience working in SMEs (Small to Medium-sized Enterprises) is advantageous.
