Power Electronics Engineer

An exciting opportunity as a Power Electronics Engineer is now available at an innovative and well-established semiconductor company based in Vienna. this role provides an opportunity to lead the design & development of cutting-edge, GaN-based power platforms.

The Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for;
• The design and testing of advanced systems (DC-DC converters, inverters, PFCs) for EV and industrial applications, leveraging GaN power technology.
• The oversight of the full design cycle from initial specifications and architecture to final testing, ensuring top performance and reliability.
• The development of high-power, high-frequency PCBs
The ideal Power Electronics Engineer will have;
• Hands-on experience in circuit design, simulation, and hardware board design.
• Proficient with lab equipment (oscilloscope, electronic loads, etc.).
• Experience with AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC converters.
• Knowledge of analog circuits, feedback control, EMI requirements, power layout design, and embedded systems is an advantage.
• High proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
