Lead Software Engineer

£80,000 - £90,000 & hybrid working!

My client is embarking on developing the next-generation of Fixed Wireless Access products based on 5G air interface standard in the mmWave frequency bands. They are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to be responsible for the creation of a Network Management System application that supports configuration, monitoring and management of the network elements, to allow for fine-grained control over the operation and management of the network. You will be spearheading the development of the NMS application and planning tool whilst managing a team of software engineers.

What's required for this Lead Software Engineer position?
• Track record of senior technical leadership within a customer facing online platform environment
• Proficiency in C++, C# or Java (OOP)
• Experience with build tools and environments
• Experience in leading the development of MVPs and bringing products from concept to market
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of 5G/LTE/WAN or previous experience developing an NMS is advantageous
