Job Vacancy SoC Architect

Our client, a leading IC Design company based in Grenoble is seeking an experienced SoC Architect to head up and lead a frontend digital design team working on an exciting array of projects.

This company is an established IC organisation focusing on ASIC design and verification services for a number of major clients. They are expanding across the business and are looking for a SoC Architect who is able to understand complex customer SoCs and be able to lead a team to work on the design. The SoC Architect will be the technical lead of the project, and be the interface between the company and the customer.

This role is ideally based in Grenoble; however they may consider alternatives depending on the profile and the level of autonomy.

Required:
• Experience in any of the below would be useful
• Natural technical leadership ability, with excellent communication skills
• A solid understanding of the digital design flow (synthesis, STA, CDC, lint, DFT)
• Complex RTL design experience with performance and size in mind
• An extensive background in Digital ASIC Design, with proven experience within SoC Architecture and writing architectural specifications
• High speed interfaces
• Ethernet or similar protocols
• Caches
• Complex state machines / FSM
