About the role
The Solution Architect will provide solution design expertise across digital products and services within the IELTS domain.
- Create and document solution designs using the appropriate standards, patterns, and principles.
- Embrace new technologies and methods to enhance IT solutions and gain a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, such as business users, developers, testers, or managers, and communicate IT solutions clearly.
- Address issues during the software lifecycle with suitable techniques.
- Translate business requirements into solution designs.
- Ensure holistic consideration of solution designs and manage dependencies across teams within IELTS.
- Lead system integration from a design perspective.
- Build strong relationships with Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Support engineering and development teams in implementing solution designs.
We are seeking an individual with a strong background in software architecture and design, who is proficient in creating and documenting high-level structures and behaviours of IT solutions.
Essential skills and experience include:
- Software architecture and design patterns.
- Software development and testing.
- Microservices and integration patterns.
- Agile and project delivery methods.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting during the software lifecycle
