Design Verification Engineer - Principal Level

The company is seeking a talented Design Verification Engineer to join the dynamic team in either Cork or Dublin. As a leader in the industry, the company specialises in DDR memory controllers for diverse markets including AI, edge computing, automotive, and data center applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IP verification, expertise in UVM, and a passion for quality processes.

Responsibilities • Developing and executing comprehensive verification test plans for DDR memory controllers
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful verification of IP cores
• Analysing and debugging test failures and driving resolutions in a timely manner
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of verification methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality
• Documenting and communicating verification results and progress effectively
Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in IP verification, particularly in DDR memory controllers
• Proficiency in UVM and verification methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Understanding of quality processes and their application in the verification environment
Day-to-Day • Collaborating with design and architecture teams to understand design specifications
• Developing and executing verification plans to ensure functional correctness and performance targets are met
• Reviewing and optimising verification environments and test benches
• Engaging in continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues
This role will only consider candidates who are eligible to work in Europe and will relocate to Ireland if not already based there.
