An R&D Centre in Munich is looking for an experienced Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to work full time in their office (no hybrid working!). International candidates with strong skills in high-speed Serdes design will be considered and visa can be provided for an exceptional candidate. A competitive salary package including a bonus will be offered.

The responsibilities of the Principal Mixed-signal design engineer include:
•       •     Work within the optical communications team, focusing on the development of high speed SerDes blocks.
•       •     Work on the conception and architecture for analog and digital signal paths. These will be within AMS modules.
•       •     Work with cross-functional teams, across multiple regions.
•       •     Analog/mixed-signal fault modeling and simulation.
•       •     Mentor junior engineers and handle multi-partner projects.
Requirements
•       •     Master's or PhD qualified in electrical engineering or an equivalent field.
•       •     Experience with high-speed SerDes, PHY, or PCie.
•       •     An excellent understanding of analog modules such as PLLs, DAC/ADCs, and LDOs. 
•       •     Industry experience in the design and architecture of analog mixed-signal circuits.

10% travel is required for this position.
