DevOps Engineer (Ansible Ruby) London / WFH

Are you a technologist DevOps Engineer with the ability to write code in Ruby?

You could be progressing your career and gaining valuable finance experience at a successful and growing FinTech that processed over £250 billion in business money transfers last year.

As a DevOps Engineer you'll join a small team to maintain and enhance new and existing DevOps and CI/CD processes in line with Agile workstreams, partnering with the software engineering team to help build systems and test automation infrastructure. One of your key responsibilities will be to maintain and enhance the existing configuration management cookbooks. You'll have exposure to a wide range of tools and will be encouraged to learn and pick things up on the job.

WFH Policy:

You'll join colleagues in the City office twice a week with most of the time work from home if desired, please note there is also occasional weekend work, with a day off in lieu.

Requirements:

You have experience in a similar DevOps role with a strong knowledge of Azure (will also consider AWS)
You're experienced working with Chef cookbooks OR have software development skills in Ruby
You have a good understanding of IaC tools such as Terraform
Knowledge of AKS and Helm charts would be beneficial
You're collaborative with great communication skills
