Job Title: Contract Embedded Software Engineer - C++

Location: East Midlands

Salary: £50 - £60 per hour

We're looking for an experienced Senior C++ Software Engineer! If you have a passion for building high-quality embedded systems and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and test firmware/software for embedded systems.
• Work closely with hardware engineers on system design and integration.
• Lead software planning, estimation, and troubleshooting.
• Drive quality and efficiency within the software team.
• Collaborate across teams and with external partners.

What You'll Need:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software, or Computer Engineering.
• Skills:
  • Strong expertise in C++ (bonus: C, Python, or C#).
  • Experience with testing, debugging, and Agile workflows.
  • Knowledge of CI tools (e.g., Jenkins), automated testing, and system integration.
• Great communication and teamwork skills.
