Freelance job HV Plant Engineer (Birmingham)

We are seeking a highly skilled HV Plant Primary Engineer to join an engineering contractor. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects with a focus on National Grid and SSE. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in substation design and engineering, with the ability to deliver high-quality results in a hybrid working environment.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Substation Experience: Extensive experience in substation design and engineering is essential.
National Grid and SSE: Preferred candidates will have experience working with National Grid and SSE.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HV plant design software and tools.

Location and Work Environment:

Hybrid Role: This position offers a flexible working arrangement, with a combination of remote work and office presence in Birmingham.
Travel: Occasional travel to project sites and client locations may be required.

Contract Details:

Outside IR35: This contract opportunity falls outside the scope of IR35 regulations.
Duration: 6 months initial with the view to extend
Rate: Competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience.
