Hi guys,
I am planning to work with another freelancer on a specific project, and I am wondering whether I should draw up a partnership contract? Does anyone else have any experience with this?
Is there anywhere I can find a partnership contract template to tailor or somewhere I can get a contract drawn up from without having to spend a small fortune?
Thanks!

If it is a one off then I would just do a DIY one sheet outling the key parameters - who does what, client interaction, timescales, managing payments etc. If its longer term you many need something more formal. Ho well do you know this other person ? -

I met this freelancer on another project and worked alongside them for nearly 6 months - seemed to be genuine and reliable so perhaps a DIY one will be fine in this instance? Thanks 🙂 -

You can have something more formal created but unless you're prepared to be going to the trouble of taking each other to court (should it all fall apart), it really wouldn't make much differenceOpus Creative Design Ltd -

I did end up putting together a simple one page partnership contract from some free templates I found online just outlining the basics - responsibilities, finances etc. My partner on the project had no issue signing it and in fact said that they had been wondering whether they should do the same!
