Hi all
Stumbled across this forum and would appreciate any tips and tuts, on top of the knowledge thats already out there.
Does anybody have experience with Joomla and PHP ? If so could you point me to valuable references.

Messages count : 1Likes count : 0Registration : 9 October 2009Hi , Get a book as quickly as possible. Something like PHP for beginners , try to learn it from there first , then to advance you could check there are millions of sources for PHP , Joomla , Drupal , Wordpress etc.
- Advices : Design a logo or banner to jour current jobs , and put them in your portfolio section , and just put something like "Soon".

Messages count : 3Likes count : 0Registration : 29 October 2009I set up a cheapo hosting service with Fantastico for some hands-on action..depends how you want to work but I find just getting out there and trying the things out is the most effective way..at least then you can put them on your CV pretty much immediately :D
(obviously you'll need to hone your skills if you intend on going for jobs that require them though!!)
