Job title: Engineer - Support Engineering (LSA & Supply Support)
Location: Barrow-in-Furness - onsite
Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Creating maintenance for a Submarine programme - identifying spares, carry onboard or build
- Perform Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) to ensure that systems and products are supported throughout their lifecycle
- Collating data such as drawings and technical manuals
- Understanding engineering drawings and breaking down equipment to create a disassembly sequence
- Writing maintenance task instructions
- Collaborate with design engineers to integrate LSA principles into the product development process
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Previous experience working within a technical background
- A confident communicator
- Competent using computer systems
Desirable:
- Experience working with Eagle
- Engineering qualification/relative experience
- Experience in working with Integrated Logistics Support

The Logistic Support Analysis Team:
The team comprises a blend of experienced professionals currently engaged in maintaining Submarine programmes. The primary focus is on identifying necessary spares for these activities. While this role is specifically for a future Submarine programme, there will also be opportunities to gain visibility into the existing Submarine programmes.
The team is continuously expanding, offering ample opportunities for growth and development. There is significant room for professional advancement within Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), supported by a flexible and hybrid work environment. With ongoing projects and a stable workload, job security is a significant advantage. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
