Senior Hardware Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join a leading company based in Kent, specialising in optical systems for medical applications.

The company is renowned for developing cutting-edge medical devices and optical components that enhance diagnostics and therapeutic procedures.

In this role, you will focus on the design and development of hardware systems that integrate optical technologies with electronic systems. Your responsibilities will include analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware prototyping tailored for high-precision medical devices. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of optical and electronic components, and you will be involved in all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept through to production.

The ideal Senior Hardware Engineer will have:
• Strong expertise in electronic hardware and its integration into instruments.
• Experience in analog and digital circuit design
• Proficiency in PCB design and hardware testing processes
• Experience with medical device development and compliance with industry standards
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects effectively
