We are looking for an experienced ML Platform Lead to lead a small team and scale our ML capabilities to meet the needs of our team and our companies goals. You will be joining in the early stages of our journey as we build out the team. We're migrating to Snowflake platform along with other tooling as part of the modern data stack such as AWS (Sagemaker). You will be responsible for designing and implementing the infrastructure and tools that enable the development and deployment of machine learning models. In this role, you will be using ground-breaking technology on the Snowflake platform to build and support world-class ML systems, both batch and real-time. Your role will be part people manager, part individual contributor - you'll be thinking strategically about what we need and building the platform out. This company are undergoing their largest business change and transformation program in their history. They are currently rolling out brand new technology to the business ranging from ERPs, CRMs, and Cloud Platforms. In order to support these new technologies and systems they are building out an entirely new Data Infrastructure. In this role you will report directly to the Global Data Engineering Lead. You'll join a small, specialised department of Data Engineers working on the Design, development, and implementation of a new Data Platform. You'll modernise Data Ingestion, CI/CD Pipelines, Governance, Data Lakes and Warehouses. You'll predominantly work from home but will travel to site each week depending on project requirements. The ideal candidate will be a Data Engineer with Azure, SQL, and Kimball experience. Candidates must have Python experience for CI/CD Pipeline build. Database build will be a large part of this position so strong experience with SQL is a must.
