This fast growth US tech company, developing state-of-the-art software in conjunction with some of the major automotive OEMs, is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer. This a hybrid role based in Dublin. They have been working with some of the largest automotive companies by producing and delivering technology and solutions that are redefining and accelerating software innovation for the automotive industry. This role will be focused on backend architecture and development. You will be taking a senior/lead role on the the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services and APIs for cloud-based applications. You will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of microservices and serverless solutions, and ensure backend services are highly performant, scalable, and resilient, with a focus on meeting SLAs and minimizing downtime. Key skills/experience required: • In-depth expertise in backend development. • Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including cloud-native services. • Backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Scala, Rust) • Microservices architecture. • Cloud infrastructure, containerisation (e.g., Docker), and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). • Designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, as well as serverless architectures. • Database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in database optimisation. • Distributed systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc If you are interested in applying, please contact Matt Andrews at IC Resources.
