Your future duties and responsibilities As an Infrastructure Engineer you will: - Seamlessly integrate development outputs into release modules. - Spearhead their progression through relevant stages into operational service. - Navigate the release-to-service process, including security and accreditation procedures. - Provide technical insights and expertise on designs, solutions, tools, techniques and standards. - Provide hands-on development of pragmatic solutions for real-world challenges. - Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve incidents. You will be part of an operations team providing first line support, partner escalation and incident management across the TNS network. You will be responsible for the monitoring and support of our the TNS customer network environment (providing a robust global network for the payments processing of thousands of customers) - and should be conversant in the role of upkeeping high availability networks, along with providing timely resolutions and quality assurance for customers. Senior Embedded Software Engineer needed in Bristol to join well established team working on leading edge wireless technology. I am seeking well educated Senior Embedded Engineers with excellent academics and 3- 10 years experience of C and/or C++, and python. You will also have good experience in real-time embedded software in the Linux environment and some experience in wireless communications systems and concepts. Knowledge of the 3G/4G/5G physical layer would be beneficial. I am seeking a Senior Embedded Engineer who has experience working in an integration/lab type environment.
