C++ Developer (12 Month FTC) Chesterfield - 4 Days on-site £45,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Pension + Holiday This is an excellent opportunity for a C++ Developer who is eligible for or currently posses SC Clearance to join a global business in a role offering exciting and ever-changing projects. In this varied role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining C++ programs for communication, with a focus on TCP/IP and Modbus protocols. Equally, managing MySQL databases in a Linux environment, handling tasks such as user account control, data logging, and alarm control. Lastly, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality is essential. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in C++ programming, particularly for communication protocols like TCP/IP and Modbus. Hands-on experience with MySQL databases in a Linux environment will also be a key skill required within this position. While not essential it would be desirable to have familiarity with GTK graphical user interface software and experience working with the Debian 9 Linux operating system and Java.
