Salary: £33,300 - £43,300

Location: Cambridge/Hybrid

Contract: Full Time/Fixed Term (12-month contract)

The Strategy and Transformation Team is seeking a Project Manager to manage and execute a wide range of projects within Operations.

As an Operations Project Manager, you'll be at the core of our operations, driving exciting projects pivotal in improving efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our operations are agile and can meet the ever-changing needs of the business.

In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate with various departments within Group Operations including Global Logistics, Property Services, Customer Services, Procurement, as well as Product Groups and other Shared Services. Your mission will be to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You'll plan, execute, and finalise projects with precision, ensuring every detail is covered. You'll also be adept at using the right tools to support collaboration and lead cross-functional teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • You will be responsible for coordinating the scoping, planning, building, testing, review and launch of a range of solutions to achieve Operations strategic goals.
  • Socialisation and approval of key documents are your responsibility throughout the project lifecycle with a focus on the right level of information to different audiences.
  • Taking target outcomes and identifying work streams, work breakdown structures and project schedules.
  • Identifying and managing risks, assumptions, dependencies, and the critical path of any assigned project.
  • Ensuring options and decisions throughout the project focus on maximising the value and benefits of the project
  • Documenting and detailing the benefits and their owners, tracking and monitoring processes and their realisation during the project and the plan and ownership for post-project realisation.
  • Strong people skills and ability to engage stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present effectively to board-level stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to tackle a variety of projects.

  • Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and your strong analytical skills make you an invaluable asset to our team.
  • You are proficient in project management software and tools, and you continuously seek to improve processes and drive operational excellence.
